My Process
My process is designed to establish clear expectations and communications between us, to create a strong container of safety and consent, to make your process as stress-free and empowering as possible. and to produce the absolute best possible results.

Step 1: Introductions & Basics
My work with any new client or for any event or project starts with a phone call, email, DM or text conversation. On our intro call, we’ll chat about what you’re looking for, the goal and purpose of your photo shoot, where and how photos will be used, setting of expectations and any special requests you have for our work together.
Step 2:
For personal, modeling, headshot or branding photo shoots, the second step of the process includes the client sharing their clothing choices and personal style preferences for the shoot. If shooting on location, I’ll create a sample album of locations, tailored to match the look and feel of your shoot and to meet the exact goals and purpose of the final photographs.
Step 3: Contract & Quote
Once we’ve got our plan together, I’ll present a project overview, contract and quote that clearly outlines all of the specific details we discussed and agreed-upon. This document will include terms and conditions of our work together, of photo delivery and storage and a timeline for delivery. Pending your approval and acceptance of the terms and conditions of the contract, you submit a deposit of 50% of your total cost and your shoot is officially booked!
Step 5: Shoot Day!
On the day of the shoot, I’ll arrive at least 15 minutes prior to our scheduled start time to get the lay of the land, to set up any equipment and to plan some of our first shots. For portraiture and modeling shoots, I always bring a pop-up changing tent for your privacy and safety and a full length mirror so you can make sure you’re looking and feeling your best.
Step 6: Post-Production & Delivery
After any shoot, I cull through photos, removing anything that’s out of focus or just didn’t work. I back up the rest and edit the best of the best to bring out the absolute best of you or your event from each frame. I crop the best shots based on your desired application and share a cloud-based album with you from which you can download your files and/or share with others in your network.
Step 4: Pre-Shoot Check-In
As your shoot approaches I’ll check-in with you to make sure you’re comfortable with our plan and to make any last minute adjustments. I’ll send you a refresh of our logistics with a pin for our exact meeting spot and some last words of inspiration and encouragement! I always encourage and welcome friends and partners at my shoots, as your safety and comfort is an absolute top priority and I believe strongly that the people who know and love you the most can bring out your best and will make for the most fun experience possible!
